This office space had become shabby and impractical. We brightened it up with new paint, including black accents. The floor was refinished so that it no longer needed to be covered. As a result, rather than a centered rug, which made movement difficult, we were able to place a runner against the wall, grounding and cleaning up the look of the furniture there, and adding interest, color and texture. The desk chair was replaced with a fully adjustable Aeron, and the tattered turquoise director’s chair was swapped out for a vintage woven Aalto chair in black. The existing drop-leaf table was retained per client’s request.
